TRY IT: White vinegar as an everyday spray cleaner

Plain ol’ white vinegar is an effective alternative to bleach & ammonia. It kills nearly all household germs and it's highly economical. The fumes can be bothersome at first, but they are not harmful and they dissipate quickly. Vinegar is also completely safe to use around children and pets.

Later, we’ll add it to recipes to disinfect counters, clean glass, soften laundry and more. But for now, give it a try on its own (diluted only in water) so you can see how easy and effective it is for everyday cleaning.
